umm, you've had a "cough" for a couple months....

you don't recall the other night (or the posts you made here that night)...

you haven't eaten since last friday?

BS.

either that, or I'm going to respectfully ask that you sign your car over to me so that when you kick the bucket, I get to replace this white turd with a real nice one

McDawg-ballz blows goats;
I used to not mind it, but my one sister-in-law loves it so I've had wayy too much for the last number of years...

Taco bell is he best (but it's 300% better state-side) ~ go to the one in west hills generally it's hte cleanest, and best on portioning...

Yes, I go to the one in west hills... I HATE the KFC/Taco bell that's virtually a block away from me...
(read: terrible portioning, crappy service, slow, did I mention terrible portioning?)

I'd love to be some kind of franchise watch-dog, and nail them to the wall for continually screwing their customers...

State-side I like Taco Bell and In & Out Burger;
Here I like Taco Bell (as long as it's not dumpy ect), Taco Time, and Wendy's...

if you have to ask, you're really the ijit...

EDIT:

Jordan - why you being a jerk in this thread?

So getting back to the car talk. I've noticed my exhaust no longer pops when I let off the gas now that I'm tuned. I'm sure it's a good thing lol. But I kinda miss the pops and gargles it used to make

Probably lol.

Also. Is it good that my afr's shoot to like 16.5-17 when I shift and lightly get on the gas??? Before they were going the opposite direction and hit like 11-12 while shifting.

popping from te exhaust is generally unburnt gas igniting in your exhaust;
that not happening means the afr is probably running closer to where it should be...

I know what you mean though, the popping is kinda cool...

definitely a little lean...

ideally you want to be more around 14:1

I imagine that I have yet to hear from Vince because it was a long weekend (read: backlog), but if I don't hear from him tomorrow I'll call on Friday ~ I'd imagine we should get you taken care of ASAP

How about I tentatively plan on heading out your way this weekend?

Agreed. I got amazing gas mileage on the highway tho. But it was def lean. Highway it was bouncing between 14.7-16.2 or so.

But even with all the hammering I've done on my car I still got like 480km on my last tank lol

I've only gotten over 500km a couple of times. Never close to 600. That's impressive.

that was my plan...
you've come down twice now...
and with you running a bit on the lean side of things (at least from what I've learnt so far) Id rather not make you do more highway driving...

it's too bad we couldn't have seen that while datalogging huh?

EDIT:

Here's a nice little tidbit of info;

A well-tuned engine used in normal road conditions has an air/fuel ratio that is constantly varying. At light loads, lean air/fuel ratios are used, while when the engine is required to develop substantial power, richer (ie lower number) air/fuel ratios are used.

Bosch state that most spark ignition engines develop their maximum power at air/fuel ratios of 12.5:1 - 14:1, maximum fuel economy at 16.2:1 - 17.6:1, and good load transitions from about 11:1 - 12.5:1. However, in practical applications, engine air/fuel ratios at maximum power are often richer than the quoted 12.5:1, especially in forced induction engines where the excess fuel is used to cool combustion and so prevent detonation.

There is no one air/fuel ratio where all emissions are minimised. At an air/fuel ratio of 14.7:1 oxides of nitrogen peak, while hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide (CO) increase substantially as the air/fuel ratio richens.
