Look under your car. There will be black gross carbon goo at the leak. Combustion is not clean haha.

Or you can seafoam it and smoke will come out of it.

have a look during the day and you see a crack in the flex hose most likely... fortunate your na..... i just didnt have a crack i tore the flex hose almost right off.... also remember it isnt a must to have all sensors in location u can run without a rear o2 sensor.... however the rear bung is usefull if you have plans to get a wideband

Jordan;

assuming you can make it work, just go to the minute muffler and have them look at it;
phone ahead to see if they can look at it;
they should be able to have a look at it and get you a quote for repairs (and maybe options) within fifteen minutes.

tell them you will have to talk to your parents before booking it, and leave it at that (it's normal for them to give quotes, and have the customer get back to them);
then you can talk to your parents about your options...
but the work performed will have a warranty - and that's worth something (especially to someone not wanting to mod their car, and with a limited budget for the foreseeable future)...

btw;
stock LSJ exhaust - no interest in headpipe

Ya I was talking about a leak. I replaced the cat on my downpipe. It was 2 hours book time to weld it in. It would be the same to weld in a new flex pipe. Just replace the downpipe if it's the problem it will be cheaper.

My car looks naked without the roofrack. It also looks lower lol which is odd cus I just raised my car the other week lol. Can't wait till I buy the Yakima fatcat 6 so I can put the rack back on

The 80's supras were kind of a joke. The 7m-gte motor didn't handle high hp unless fully built.

jordan goto calgary muffler down by chinook center they do great work and free estamates..... i am telling you tho if it is the flex hose they will recomend you to get a aftermarket coz of the price.... 190 is cheap if you went catted.... and 130 is dirt cheap if you went catless.... also with the zzp dp they are so easy to change you dont need to include labour.... a flex pipe costs at least 50 bucks and then you goto pay at least 2hrs of install....

wtf jon raspy? waaaaaaaaaaaa raspy is a figment of your imagination and is to many times discussed in exhaust topics.... wtf is raspy? hahahahah sorry there is 2 types of exhaust quiet and loud.... thats it hahahahah....... also with no after market mufflers or headers i am sure he wont be too raspy/ noisey..... it will be just slightly louder.... i personally think jon you need a louder super charger so you will quit complaining your car sounds raspy.... hahhaahahah kill noise with noise.... that way if you get a louder supercharger you can sell me your stg 2 hahahaahahahahh

lol there is no louder superchargers. I'd have to us a mp90 or something significantly bigger than the m62. Plus the XR-1 muffler cut out alot of the tinny/rasp and still sounds pretty good

My exhaust sounds like there is something rattling in it. I was at a Tim
Hortons drive through between 2 buildings an it sounded like ****.

I'll get an estimate from a muffler shop, then I'll go from there. Mayb just use their diagnosis and go aftermarket and install myself

Jordan;
From my experience Calgary Muffler was about 30% high compared to either Jeff @ Minute Muffler (beside Sammy's shop), or the minute muffler @ Barlow & 61st;
of late I've been giving my business to the shop at barlow & 61st - they seem to be straight shooters, and generally have decent stock for fab/repair work.

The tvs is quieter than the m62

Cost me 120 bucks in labor for a hour to get my xr-1 muffler installed at speedy Apollo by southgate

Tvs is more efficient plus the extra twist in the lobes help with that

TVS is slightly quieter then the M62 if I remember correctly. It's just like a whipple is quieter then a TVS.

Apparently my e-brake isn't working now - I'm hoping it's just buildup of crap in the brakes. I pull the handle and there's no resistance on it.
