I just got a call from Jack Carter;

they're replacing the cylinder head ~ something went awry with the cylinder head or a rocker...
and the replacement cylinder head is going to be ten days out!



... on a completely unrelated note - what do any of you think about getting together this coming saturday?

we could do tim hortons, or you could all come over to my place ~ I don't have much to offer, but it's better than standing out in a parking lot in winter (which we normally do) ~ or worrying about the riff-raff/skin heads that me and jon sat amongst this past saturday...

if we don't meet this saturday, I'm guessing we wont meet up till 2012 ~ the following saturday is Christmas Eve ~ and the following one is new years eve...

I went to Fernie the other day, it was actually really nice. Nobody on the hill and not a cloud in the entire sky.

looks like exhaust rocker #3 came lose;
did some kinda damage to make an apparent "valve cover leak" ~ and upon inspection the head will be replaced...
saw a loooong list of parts being replaced ~ including the exhaust cam...

GMS1 > aftermarket tune

at least as far as keeping warranty is concerned....

yes, I know that between my sig pic & the above statement I might seem contradictory...
