help paint lights!
Hey Jase if your offering to help I'd really love to help / learn and would be very willing I'd be more than happy to compensate / double up with Allan kill 2 Balts with 1 stone :P
haha sounds like a painting day lol
its really easy guys.. all the time and effort for me was cleaning out the old sealant around the edges.
If you do a search theres a how to on here.
But the short version is:
1) take off lights and everything that you can remove from it
2) heat
3) pry
4) clean off the access sealant
5) tape off what you dont want painted
6) sand for a rough surface
7) Paint - I used krylon fusion paint as it sticks to anything lol
8) let dry
9) apply an outdoor sealant/silicone in the rigdges where the front edge meets the back edge
10) put back together with alot of force
11) let dry
12) put back on
I was going to help physically doing it but my time just got eaten up by a contract for work so i have very little time now
if you have questions i will try to answer
