Not sure if u knew that or even care but its FYI. I dont know much about the SS/TC but how much power gain should u get?
these parts from CED have Genuine GM part #s on the packaging... they are the same ones you'd get from the dealership since crate engine depot is supplied by rockenbach chevrolet dealership in IL so it should not void the warranty the package even has the return address as the dealership... gains are what is expected from what i've heard... want to re dyno my car after the tune... but ppl are saying the numbers are what they should be ... 280hp 320torque relatively speaking wheel numbers are a little less but proportionaly the same. i'll let you know come spring... the OK tire here in Windsor does 2 dyno runs for $20 at customer appreciation day

Everyone ready for the snow today? now they're saying 25-35cm with storm surges and wind gusts up to 130km/h on the coast:/

Parts waiting to be put on:

Injen Hot side Piping
Dejon Cold Side piping
4 x 235/40R18 BFG Geforce Sports

Parts to be ordered:

Synapse Intercooler

Once everything goes on, i'll get the GMS1 tune. I'm agreeing with Jarren. Too many people are having problems with the Trifecta Tune.

Can't wait to see everyone's cars in the spring!

I'm in Cape Breton right now, and me and the gf aren't heading back to the city tomorrow, which seems like the best choice. I believe we're expecting mostly rain up here.... Was a very shitty drive up Wednesday night for us though, hoping its not like it on the way back. Hope everyone back on the mainland makes out ok!!

I'm not sure what to do next right now... I have my 3" exhaust waiting for me in my room to be put on in the spring, what should i purchase next, downpipe, charge piping, intake? Also looking at the GMS1. Any input is appreciated!

From what i was told by 2 dealerships. It has to be GM Parts, bought from a GM dealership and installed by a GM mechanic. Theres a huge paper trail for all the parts/work to keep the warrenty. Thank god Nissan doesnt do that. I bought the intakes from them and installed them myself. They wanted to charge me $495 to install. I said ill do it myself. The guy and manager said "i would do the same thing, your warrenty is still good, theres no paperwork trail for us so theres no difference between you installing it and us installing.

Either way those sound like some nice gains.

you can bet i'll be keeping all the paperwork and packaging...to prove it's a GM part and i'll be sure to ask the dealership before they install it that it's gonna be covered 100%. they said yes but maybe i should get it on paper :P

So far i have...

-3" CIA Cat-Back with Res Delete (Same as Jerren)

Thats all i have bought for now, but i am ready to start purchasing some other bolt ons..

What should i be looking at next? Downpipe, Charge Piping, Intake, and its also looking like GMS1 seems to be the best bet tune/stage kit wise.

oh i know been saving all my dealership repair slips because they have yet to diagnose a noise coming from my drivetrain.. this will be their third attempt come spring... so they can't say later that i caused it or neglected it when they have told me on paper that i could drive it without an issue because it's not serious. pfft we'll see... the noise started after i did my first launch control assisted takeoff ... tires never broke loose at all... just a loud thump and then the car bogged a bit and finally went... noise ahs gotten louder since then... not brakes or tires... not axels... so i dunno... car still shifts fine... tranny is a bit more clunky than it was but that's normal....needless to say i'll never use launch control again... hated it... besides that 5k is too high rpm for launching unless you're using slicks. so two dealerships said it's nothing to worry about and they'll diagnose it in the spring and fix it.. we'll see... tire rotation and two brake services later they're still not convinced it's a drive train issue... yet it only seems to make the noise when you're decelerating but it's not too bad to hear still faint sounding... clutch in or out... in gear or out of gear... brakes on or off .. no idea... thank god for warranties...

well so far so good... both dealerships said no problem... one even told me he'd have no issues covering any warranty and has never denied warranty work before since it's a sports car and is meant to be driven and should be able to take some abuse. oreagans has done a tire rotation and two front brake services so far in an attempt to fix the problem and never charged me for any of the work. and not to knock LSJ guys but they aren't known to be very reliable... not that my TC will be any better... but we'll see...

I don't know about lsjs not being reliable. I had one for 3 years, it was fully bolted and It always got me where I wanted to go. Sure it had it's issues but it's a gm.... Lol

I'm still driving it fully bolted and it's never left me high and dry at 75,000kms..

Went to pick up my spray tint and springs Thursday. Turns out they had the pro kit not the sportlines. So I just picked up the tint. Looking at possibly ordering a set of K sports in the next week or two.

Also had my boost gauge and heater fan replaced under warranty on Thursday morning. Goes back in Monday morning to have the cat replaced under warranty.

Wasnt thinking about the 370z. Besides, eibach already makes sportlines for my car..lol, i would never lower my car, i scrape the bottom of my car going over some speed bumps and the curb lip when i come out of a parking lot.

Nah i was just wondering since the SS/TC has different shocks if it feels different.

I'd love to have coilovers. But I don't have the bank to support that lol.
