In the pics you listed as fender. Look at the space between the door and fender. Waves tight and gapped. Looks shitty, poor quality.

Dont forget, those are protype pictures...that guy was the test car for that fender kit. Me and my gf were talking and we got a GOOD idea. Something that might take abit of time but oh well. While im gone to vancouver for the olympics i need to order new fairings for my bike. I'm ordering these ones...

http://gundamhost.com/auctmarts/prod...1b3a96e65cc8f1

My plan is to paint the car to match the bike. The cobalt and the stock fairings on my bike were almost identical and looked awesome. So my plan is to get the car painted black, the side skirts and the bottom section of the rear painted red (same red as the fairings) Later on, get flames air brushed into the car to match the bike. We are going to a huge bike show on this friday/saturday so im going to take a look and see who does air brushing. Also i need to get my tank repainted to match the fairings.

Alot of work and ALOT of money but once completed i should win alot of car shows which is what im leaning towards now.

God i wish i had your money !! Lol..... Why ruin a beautiful looking car from the factory with some weird looking body kit ? I know my opinion really doesn't matter too much. But honestly. The car looks way better stock then with some poorly fitting body kit. Just my 2 cents.

you guys don't have to like it and really I might be one of the best things we get for the car, everybody knows that it is hard to tell from pictures and yes it is,but is that what u tell the dumb people on here when they want to put a body kit on a cobalt?....hmmmm

What we want to do to the car will make it look awesome so chill and relax until we get it ,and who knows we may put the car into shows and win .

And u relilse that just the front bumper of the nismo is $4,000 dollars all together the whole body kit I believe was over 10 grand!!!!

We were the first for Nos and now we will be the first for a body kit in Canada

Leave it stock.... Don't bother with a kit....especially that gay hotwheels kit. It's hideous.

Well the door has damage and so does my quarter panel, those are easy fix. However my front bumper has 2 cracks and a nice gash in it, not easy to fix so thats why i wanted to get a different body kit. I want my car to stand out from the rest. Also the main goal for my car is for car shows. Once completed my car will not be a DD, ill probably buy a POS cobalt or something..lol.

FINALLY! I finally found a ******* spot for my NMU (nitrous management unit) After 1 ******* month of searching for a spot i finally found one, ill have pictures up tomorrow because i wanna try and find a spot for the purge and get all the hoses ran and take pictures of it together. I found a spot thats perfect...the wires are close to the battery/electrical to wire it up. Its right next to the engines fuel line that i have to tap into and its within distance of the purge line.

Me too..... Lol. I wanna see pics of the rice2000.

But anywho, is it spring time yet..... I'm so excited to get my car out.... Just gotta figure out how I'm gonna go about the tuning......thought about buying hp tuners, or just going with the trifecta selectable tune (not infiniboost). Damn it lol

Thanks. im not sure how the LNF would handle nitrous with all your mods making alot of power...always worth a try man..lol. The thing i love about setting up the kit myself is im learning alot about my car, learning how to take the dash apart, engine compartment...everything. If i have time im going to get into the garage on saturday and run the hose/wires from the bottle, under the car and get that sorted out. I also gotta take the front wheel off and fender liner out to get to the firewall gromet to get all the wires and everything finished. I'll also have the purge hooked up.

Well good news and bad news. Bad news is i was installing the fitting on the nitrous bottle for the blow down tube. You have to torque to its specs, to loose it will leak, 2 tight it will damage the burst disks. So i set my torque wrench to the specs, but the torque wrench is broken. I ended up over torquing and it snapped, leaving a piece in the bottle. Tried to use the bit kit to pull it out but didnt work, ended up ******* the threads of the bottle up. So i went to JB Power Center, bought a new bottle ($190) but its not black, its purple.

Also i realised that the blow down tube is to short to run to the bottle to under the car. So i have to mount the bottle in the spare tire well...which is also where the stock sub is....which actualy sucks. So i decided to pick up and start a sound system. Bought 2x 10" rockford subs and a 1200W Audiobahn amp with all the wiring kits. Also the guy gave me a smoking deal on a CompuStart alarm/remote starter (usally $500 + tax) he sold it to me for $299 taxes in. So it came to a grand total of $1300.

Not really a competition for me.... I have done as much modding as I can, the next step is to figure out if and what tune I'm gonna go with or if I'm gonna go with the gm stage 1. Other than that I'm gonna need new tires in the spring and r1 concept drilled & slotted rotors with hawk bps pads.
