Personally, I'd like to see the bills you guys have with buying all this stuff all the time lol, unless you pay cash outright, I need whatever job that is haha.

I wish I could go out and purchase everything within a quick amount of time, but financially I'd put myself in huge debt lol, so I buy a piece every other paycheque really, therefore it can be paid off etc, I'd be in huge trouble if I got in over my head haha..

But nonetheless, everyone is to each his own, and both you guys (Jerren and Damien) have awesome looking cars. I love the look of the 370, but I wouldn't do the hotwheels kit, the other one looks the best personally, and that will be a beast eventually I'm sure, and Jerren, your TC is where I want to get with mine eventually, it looks great, and you should put out some good numbers when you get a tune, I'd love to see what you put down. (Did you get your exhaust yet?)

But there's my input fellas, I hope to get out to some meets in the spring/summer to see all this hard work everyone is putting in to there cars, and meet everyone!

I don't have any debt as far as parts go, I pay cash thru paypal.

My exhaust is scheduled to be here on Monday. I can't wait. Then Im pretty set on going with the gms1 kit this spring/ summer unless we get better tuning options by then. Thanks for the comment about my car. I have put alot of blood, sweat and money into it and it makes me proud when I get compliments on it. Once performance is done, I'm going to work on a few visuals like gen 4 headlights with 8k bids, powdercoated rims and possibly charge pipe. Also gonna need some traction mods lol.

Yea i decided not to go with the hot wheels kit, im getting the Nismo S-Tune kit with the fender from the hot wheels (i love those fenders)...i am in debt, more then i want to be but i have never missed a payment and when i can i always make extra payments...heres how my bills break down

First half of the month 1st - 15th-

- My part of rent $525
- Bike payment $246
- Car Payment $351
- First half of CC $100

Second half of the month 16-30 or (31)

- Insurence $465
- Car Payment $351
- Second half of CC $100
- Power $25
- Cable/Internet/Phone $50
- Extra cash for florence $200
- Food $100

After each pay (half of the month) i usally have around $300-400 to spend on whatever i want. Within that 300 - 400, gas for the car comes out of that....$70 a tank.

wow your insurance is through the roof. wouldn't it be wise to save money aside incase anything ever happened to your car. what about saving for future purchases, like a house or just money for retirement. I know it's silly at our age, but never too early to start thinking about stuff like this. im not bashing on your plans for your car, i give you props on everything you do, the car looks fantastic. just pointing out some thoughts for you. you said it yourself "i am in debt... more than I want to be"

Dont forget, thats alberta prices, i was paying $3200 a year for the cobalt, moved here and it jumped to $5000 a year. Thats with 2 accidents (1 was my fault the other one i wasnt at fault) and 2 speeding tickets, plus im only 23 with a sports car. Thats just like my ZX6R, im going to be paying $1200 a year for it. As for saving for retirement, im planning on doing 30 years in the army so my pension will take care of that. Once i go to afghanistan that money will be used to pay my debt and a 2nd tour (if i can get another one) will be for a down payment for a nice house. Each tour ill come home with $40,000 or so, minus bills that i will pay in that time period, so come home with roughly $25,000 to spend on whatever i want.

Yeah but you shouldn't be banking on your tours or whatever. To me that's just odd. Then again that is just me. I would also be shopping around on the insurance tho.

I'll be checking out other insurence in the spring but i dont see anything better...everyone gets in accidents here and everyone claims everything so thats why rates are so high....AMA wanted me to pay $7000 a year for the cobalt.

Just put my order through for the Hahn Cold Air Intake that NGA is offering up, was a great deal, and definitely couldn't pass it up, lets hope it doesn't throw any codes...

Do you plan on moving back to NS in the future, or staying out west?

I would of, but honestly, this was not that much more expensive, brand new, and i think the CAI would be a bit better then the SRI.

The only thing wrong with a cai is that the filter will get soaked with water because it sets right iner the headlight, that's one of the reasons why I went with the Sri. This could also cause your car to get hydrolocked, especially with as much rain as we get around here

Congrats on the purchase none the less

Well i'll ask this question now haha..

Stu, i know you have a CAI in your TC... Have you had any problems with it, with water, or with it throwing codes?

Also, don't they make hyrdo-shields? I saw one for Injen on TTR. We'll see how it goes, thanks!

Going to try and get a posting to gagetown when my 1st contract is up. Going to request a 5 year contract in gagetown...i ******* hate it here, worst province ever. Found a huge scratch mark on my rear bumper, someone hit my car in the parking lot and ran off, didnt even any info.

Edit:

What do you guys think of this trunk set up? Of course the subs will be screwed down so they r level with the carpet. I'm going to buy some ply wood when i come back in march, cut it out in the shape of the carpet and put 2x4's under it in the spare tire spot for support.

I like the sub set up, looks great.
just make sure you build the boxs right or they will not sound good at all.
as about the CAI and SRI.
well you all know i run open filter. i will not put filter on my turbo, it gets a little screen and thats it. and i haveent had any issues with my car hydrolocking or anything and i have drove it in some crazy rain storms lol
just ordered a TiAL 44mm Wastegate with 12psi spring, TiAL 50mm BOV, and New turbo manifold.

Yeah but your car wouldn't get the chance to hydro lock, the reason is because a cai sets right under the headlight on the sstc so once the filter gets water logged it will start sucking water into the turbo. You don't have anything to draw water towards the turbo due to the fact that you don't have a filter
