Just ordered a set of Hawk HPS pads (Front/Rear). Couldn't pass up the price of under $200 shipped here. Hopefully they'll cut back on my squeal and brake dust, and grab more then the stock ones.

Ordered Golden Eagle rods then received a call the next day saying they were unavailable haha. So now I've got a set of special order Pauter connecting rods on order as well as a Snow Methanol Injection kit in the mail.

Still need:
ZZP twin charge(may wait till 2011)
Sleeves
Pistons
ARP Rods and crank bearings
ARP Rod bolts and headstuds
Cometic headgasket
Valves and valve springs(still undecided on brand)
Lots of other stuff lol

The block will be shipped to Armstrong's this fall when the car goes in for storage and the head is going to TK cylinder heads in Blackrock for P&P... As well my hood will be going for paint due to rock chips

Had my exhaust, downpipe and springs installed last night. Stu helped out and did a great job! Thanks so much, even for fixing up my brakes!

Wow i love the sound with the res delete. I'll try and get some videos up later today once i get it washed up a bit. Its not too loud when you're just cruising, but when you get on it, it sounds GREAT!

Thanks Stu!

No luck yet..... The dealer won't take anything apart to look at anything...... They said if they did and it wasn't the issue, I would have to pay.... I'm heading down to the dealer in digby Thursday to see if they might find something... If they don't, I'm gonna tare sone **** apart to see if I can find anything. If I don't find anything, I'm gonna see if Taylor made can test the whole turbo system.

I think you'll find that you will have a hole in the top of the piston

There's a much better chance it's ring lands.. We did a compression test once and it showed 77psi then I poured a teaspoon of oil into the cylinder and did a compression test again, this time it read 129psi. The oil helps rule out the possibility of it being a head problem or hole in the piston. It basically pools around the edge of the piston and acts like a seal for a brief moment. Leading me to believe it's a ring land. I guess I'll find out when they pull it.

I'd rather not pay for something and have it sit, just a waste.

It's a cobalt, it'll be fine in the winter lol..
