Tinting tail lights to me looks horrable. i got fogs, hey will prob be in for speed sport. just not wired up.
they werent in before becayse they were hitting the charge pipe.
My buddy Cranny wants to put a K20 in it lol i told him get me the motor cheap and figure out how to wire it and lets do it.
i have a buddy who has a EK civic thats powered buy a turboed 2.2 ecotec, you will all see if at speed sport.

First off, tinted tail lights look way better than the hiddious lights you had in, and way better then the stock.

And secondly, for Christ sakes, why not get a Honda. Putting a k20 into a cobalt would be classified as an epic fail. Totally pointless. K20's are slow and make less torque than I use to put my lugnuts on. You think you get ragged on now for ss badges on your ls, just wait if you do that swap.

Never said i was gonna do it, i told him if he thinks he can do it we could give it a shot.
still i dont havethe money for it.
the motor would br a frankinstine, K20 block K24 head, all motor they make 217whp and 180 tq, and not like i'd leave it N/A i would have to boost it.
people can rip on the badges all they want doesnt bother me at all.
and personally imo all red tails are the best to have. the tails i had before were a **** up they were suppose to be all red but when i got them they were not.

Looks awesome pykie, a much better look then before. From the pics it looks like you could use some wider tires for those rims tho (I think it might just be the way the pics look), but its hard to tell from the pics. Other then that good work.

we put that size on the cobalt before we left for out here and we had no problems...unless he is going to get the "ss" rims to put them on.

Pretty sure the SS rims are no wheres near the same width of the rims i have.
and plus your old car was no where near as low as mine.
my rims are 8.75" wide the tires are 225/40/18 my car is Dumped and the front tires on turns rub the fenders.
the front wheer gap isnt a finger, the rear is 1/2 a finger

the tails would look better tinted.....even if it's just a light smokey coating. Just to accentuate.

the rest of my nitrous parts came in, gotta pick them up today. Although iiunno if ill have time to finish the install. It's been raining in edmonton and i just got back last night from gun camp and i head back to the field for 4 weeks on sunday.

Edit:

Set of lines for both fuel and nitrous to both intakes, 2nd fogger, fuel liner adaptor, purge tube, blow down tube fitting

.16 fuel jet, .30 nitrous jet = 50shot X 2 for each intake = 100shot

And these just came in from japan for the nismo kit when it arrives.
