Looking to get the car friday afternoon...around 1pm, and return it tuesday evening...around 4. I'm going to make reservations tomorrow afternoon so if you could do something that would be great...if not, no worries, got a guy on my tasking that is paying 1/2 for the rental.

i didnt know you live in timberlea/lakeside.

And yea, what a difference in the weather here. I left edmonton, 7*, i had my leather jacket on and landed in ottawa, took the jacket off cuz it was warm, then landed in fredericton at 9:30 and it was baking.

pykie, you crack me up, you really do. The reason why james axles held and yours didnt is because james knows how to drive. Thats all im going to say about that.

btw, seen a few nice looking cobalts on the base.

The midrange hasn't changed too much. But down low and uptop I can really feel the difference !! Now i have to get my 2.9" pulley on and have someone tune me....

So who in the hrm is doing tunes ?
ur best bet is JD Racing in NB, no one else around her knows what they are doing, trifecta is garbage
strange to hear the light weight flywheel helped with bottom end power... when you change from a weighted flywheel to a light weight one, you loose tq, witch is why i dont have a light weight one in my car, i rather tq because tq is what gets you down the track.

actually my axel is fine, theres a small in hole in it that you can hardly see, put a new boot on it and its fine!
coem on there damian, next yr when i go to the chi, i will be sure to line up beside your truck and walk all over it, as can many of my friends all motor cars! see difference between tyou and i, is i build my cars and keep them, i dont go out and buy a car to make myself look good, i rather start from the base of base can be and make it into something better!
talk to me when you actually have a good project on the go, and you get off the baby bottle
also james has boost per gear, unlike me, he launches at like 250whp 2nd is 300, 3rd is full 601whp hense why he keeps axels, and he downgraded his slicks!

lol anyone can "build" a car... don't be jealous because damien can afford nicer vehicles than you...if i could afford to buy and sell vehicles and have the luxury of owning several nice rides i would too... and from what i have seen in this thread ... he does things to upgrade his vehicles all the time and does it right... why start with a POS and try to make it cool? granted you've done a decent job on yours but why not just buy something cool right out of the box and make it cooler? logic fail here.. take my word for it chris... no offense but if he was really that concerned about beating your balt at the track he could easily have it making hella power and would inevitably make you look like an ass.. his truck is almost stock and yours is ***** to the walls... see it for what it is...if he wanted to go mod happy and spend alot of money, your car would be a distant memory is his rear view mirror because SRT10 rams are capable of 11's and 12's in stock form with the right driver... put a bit of money into it and you have a monster.. keep that in mind.

The same truck as damiens broke a record in Alberta coincidentaly....

http://vimeo.com/8662709

and this truck would be even faster at our sea level... estimates for it at sea level are at the high 11's range.

If i lost any torque, it was all of about 1 foot pound ! Cause i'm telling you. The car works amazing now. Its way more snappy also. Throttle feels so instant and the revs come down way qwicker. If i lost that 1 ft pound of torque..... Then i gained 5-10 whp ! Thats how the car feels now. It just gets up and hauls ass now. Hell, i even have WAY more torque steer. So if anything. Id say i am making more torque. But thats just my .02 cents.

i doubt you lost much torque if any... lighter flywheel means less rotational mass but because it spins easier the RPM`s can make up for the weight loss...

so whos up for wings on friday or saturday...depending on the weather of course, heard there is a hurricane coming.

And chris, the difference between you and me is, i take my vehicals for what they are, i dont think they are something else that they are not. I dont care if you built your engine, i really dont. You make it sound like its a bad thing for me spending money on different vehicals...yea it is. But for the $20,000k+ for 200-300hp u have, i could build my engine and tranny, take it off the bottle, put a supercharger or twin turbo and make 1000+hp easy.

don't waste your breath damien... i'm down for wings... but this hurricane is supposed to be headed this way and may possibly track new bruinswick so be careful man... and because it was 35C here today without humidex and supposed to be hotter the next few days... plus ocean temps 4 degrees above normal this storm is gonna get some juice.. may be at least a cat 2.. we'll see what happens...this could get very ugly if the forcasters are right... but ya if it's ok i'll go for wings for sure!!

A bit, but not really. It had 2 codes that were thrown. The P0236 code about boost, and a P2178 code.

Now they told me the front of the intercooler had damage on it, which could be the cause of my problem, but the they are not sure because my car was fine when it went in there, so they had no idea. They said that my charge piping where its aftermarket may be the cause to the damage to the intercooler. I was puzzled when they said that as i know all you will be too. How the hell does my intercooler damage on the front of it, when the charge piping connects to the end tanks... Yea they have no idea what they are talking about.

But i had more problems with the dealer over the past few visits that i'll be talking to the service manager again, o'regans head office now knows about my history with problems coming from there customer service and so on.. We'll see what happens!

Good luck. Did you take your intake off? And leave your charge pipes on?
