as for pykies quote about making 300hp with a better AFR ... lets see it... because we can all talk about how our cars will make more power with a bit of tuning... it's whether your car actually DOES make that power that matters... because im pretty sure with the right amount of money i could make my car make 300hp no problem... stop bench racing please. if it is 300hp with the setup you have lets see the numbers..
well put, no one cares about what it should be making, what it puts down, is what we care about. I learned that with my cobalt.

well for my turbo car the more load the more power it makes but i have a big turbo to create more load i run it in a higher gear and it make the turbo spool up better

on my car the boost dont change from street to dyno but there are some that cant hit the boost the run on the street on the dyno why im not sure

what you should have done is try to give more boost or a bit less if it made 20 hp per pounds different you have aprox. what you would have

Little bit of an update...

After my car was at the dealership when it threw a CEL and loss of boost etc.., they could not find what went wrong, but told me the intercooler was damaged on the face of it, which may have caused a leak, but they are not 100% sure, they thought one of my aftermarket "accessories" may have been the cause, even though i do not know how it would happen. I had a chat with them, and got a call from the service manager who i've been dealing with after al the hassles i've had from O'Regans, and he left me a message saying that they had ordered a new intercooler, it'll be in Wednesday (today) and bring the car in to see him. So i dropped it off last night and i did that exact thing. Just got a call back a few minutes ago saying that they had replaced the intercooler, if the problem still comes back then take it back in they'll do more research. Also got them to look at the brakes again. But the new intercooler was replaced under warranty.

The normal squeaking and grinding, the brake pads are also very worn. I've had them check them 3 times, first in April with 11k on the car, then twice in the past two weeks, and the number in April was lower then what they're saying they are now with 6k more on them. They were hesitant to want to look at the brakes back in April which triggered me to try and get a real answer, so i have 3 different work orders, with 3 different numbers. Nothing adds up at all.

but aren't the TC's known to eat up brake pads though? maybe your rotors are warped, but let's hope not. that would be too soon!

Yea they are known for that. But tell me if this makes sense..

April Service - Pads 4mm
September Service - Pads 8mm

That is what my service records show, from April they were lower then they are now. So what doesn't add up to me is they were lower back in April then they are in September with 6k more on the car. Its common knowledge that my pads don't add depth to them, they'd lose it no matter what lol.

I may not be an expert but it sounds like u should upgrade the whole brake system and forget about oem ones...that would be something to look into, and u also said that is what they are known for anyways

I had HAWK Pads on the way, but about 2 months later i still had not received them so i gave up and got my money back, i was tired of waiting. I almost went with the Hawk Pads and R1 Concept Rotors last winter, but thought i'd stick with the OEM atleast for now.

Although this winter may be different, might have to see what kind of deal they can give me.

Adam, didn't you buy some, what kind of price shipped to your door and any duty or anything?

Yep I bought hawk hps pads and premium Slotted rotors, it was under 475$ shipped to my door. I got Steven to lower the value of the package so I only paid $20 for duties at the door fr ups

Well i made some progress i guess.... i decided to destroy a $140,000 mercedes-benz g-waggon today..lol

I was out with my Captain and another guy who was sitting in the back. We were setting up navigate points for the course that we are running. We were on a main road and came to a black track (what we call a trail) that was grown over, the Capt. asked if i thought i could make it through cuz there was alot of small tree's. So i locked the diffs up and put it into 4x4 low. Went through some sketchy places were we almost rolled but i was able to prevent it. Then we came to a part of the trail where i couldnt even see anything, all i seen was branches hitting my windshield. All of a sudden the right side just drops. We hit a colvert or however its spelt. So i just stopped and looked at my Capt. and said "well sir, we are fucked" He said to try and back up so i put it in reverse and moved about 2 inches and she just rolled over onto the right side.

So i shut the engine and master switch off, i was brasing myself when the Capt. undid my seat belt for me, i fell on him, i had to roll my window down and we climbed out. Soon as we got out we could hear diesel pouring out. We looked at it and the funnel the leads from the gas cap to the tank was cracked and poured out 3/4 of a tank..which is about 60L of diesel. So i radioed in and gave our position. MP's, Recovery, Investigators, HAZMAT and a few other people showed up. Recovery ended up hooking up to the g-waggon wrong and crushed the roof...took them 3 hours to get the thing on its wheels and out of the hole. Passenger rear door was crushed and the window was gone, mirror and roof were crushed and when they draged it out, the snapped the stearing coloum so each front wheel were faceing each direction. Roll over happend at 9:40am, we left the site at 4:30pm.

I got to keep my 404's (military licence) and they are giving me another g-waggon tomorrow..lol. What a blast it is going off roading with that thing..lol.
