yeah Oregan's cant deliver a car right so if they cant make a sale properly I wouldn't expect them to fix a car properly either... after all the horor stories about that garage i won't be going back. I wish i found just 1 dealership that wasn't full of **** / did what they said they would do on time... just 1! /rant

May see ya at the dealership today! My car will be flat bedded in there today! Car worked fine last night, my problem came back, and now today the car won't start up.

Haha ya, since his car was at the dealership :P , but no idea. I lose boost here and there, but have like none, and now the car won't start at all. So i have no idea.. it starts up then bogs out.

Guess we'll see.

 

**** that really blows... im waiting for mine to blow up just like all teh others with GMS1 sensors... haha...

edit: Also sounds like you have a CP blown off that's what my car did exactly when i blew off my CP. check the ones on the IC especially.

 

i still didn't get a call today... lol rental blues... damn fuckus... but ya you'll see my car sitting outside the garage... at least if they see another SS roll in with problems they won't be so quick to assume abuse since obviously there is more than one SS with problems

i can take mine in fro the brakes tonight then there will be 1 more were Oregans the ones that replaced yours completely Chris ? my squeak like a SOB its so embarrassing... people eye **** the car then they hear the brakes and instantly start laughing while i roll the windows up in shame ... haha (that actually happened when i was rolling down Brunswick towards SG guys at the fireside laughed at it... )

 

nope got mine done at cornwallis in new minus... oreagans wanted to turn the rotors and replace the pads but charge me for labour... i talked to cornwallis and told them that if it was warranty i shouldn't have to pay a dime and they agreed... got new pads AND rotors... no labour charge i think they wanted my business from oreagans because jerren got turned away for his brakes before at cornwallis.. goodluck! hehe

btw..i found my brakes stopped squeeling after a while but they were half worn by that time.. lol

 

Been nothing but bad luck for you NSers and your TCs. Something in the gas maybe? jk, hope y'all get your issues resolved. I gotta bring mine in next friday for mu strut replacement

 

shoulda bought a s/c.... yeah i had a issue with my breaks on my cavy went to oregans they resurfaced the rotors, then i still had a shimmy so then they replaced them

 

This might be a longshot, but I think I need an aftermarket clutch; she grabs just fine while I'm driving on the road, but tonight I took off from a dig, spun in 1st and then shifted in 2nd and she wouldn't catch on at all. Anyone locally selling or knows someone who's selling a stage kit clutch

 

when will people learn, never buy anything from gm...lol

 

yeah the new tc's seem to be having lots of problems

it isn't the tc...it is the **** from gm that people put on them...when gm had a stage kit less than a year later after they came out on the market,we know one guy that has a tc and all he has is an exhaust and intake and is making way more whp then the guys back on the east coast with stage kits...to me it seems like gm rushed into it and now people are having there cars breaking because of it or losing power for that matter when they aren't half bad cars to begin with..but that is just my two cents worth

 

There's no way a guy with an exhaust and an intake is going to make more WHP then someone with the stage kit, UNLESS this guy has an aftermarket tune on there. You will see very little if any gains from bolt ons unless you in fact do have the GMS1 or some sort of tune.

Reading this thread is making me nervous about my tc. It is also from oregans but I may go to Macphee for any issues that might come up. I sure hope not. I do also have the gms1. I hope veryone gets their problems fixed as well

 

Well, according to my datalogs, I have a boost leak somewhere. Where I don't know. I have a new bpv rebuild kit on the way so I'll try that. If that doesn't work, I swap back to the stock ic and charge pipes. I really wanna get this fixed because I can get tuned untill the leak is found. This could be like finding a needle in a hay stack.

 

called the dealership today.. they said an oil sample was sent off for analysis and that they'd get back to me soon..

 

They've been back and fourth to me about mine, should hear more by the nights end. They're still waiting on parts, but they were talking about the MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR and a few other little things, so i guess we will see what is going on. He said my two problems of the car not starting and my boost problems that are a hit or miss.

 

My retrofit kit and hids came in late today so I went right to work on them....
Now they are all sealed just waiting for them to setup....I'm gonna install them this weekend along with whittys help.
