If all you want to do is see a bunch of Cobalts lined up go over to Anacis Island Port they have lots of Cobalts over there. Since you have decided to hold the meet on the mainland I hope you have something better planned than lining up a bunch of cars and have people talking about how good your next mod will be.

Two ideas to throw out there... lazer tag or carting(thanks eurochevy)... of course it'll start out with the meet/greet, then I think we'll cruise into town from there (approx 45 mins-1.2 hour cruise) ... a couple rounds of lazer tag could be dope. Then food afterwards. A restaurant will be EASY to pick.. just a matter of what activity to do... Happy with my idea or anyone have further thoughts?

Here's what I was thinking.... maybe meet/greet/show off in Mission probably down at the Junction Mall (exact parking lot TBD, main mall in Mission, fairly easy to locate) at about 12:00-1:00 PM. Then take a cruise through the back roads/partially on the highway, then back to back roads to Planet Lazer in Langley. Lazer tag we could be looking at starting at 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM. If we do 3 games, thats a whole hour of lazer tag. After that, dinner afterwards at a nearby restaurant (or bar?) and call it a day?

If that sounds like a plan, going to have to know within the next week. I called Planet Lazer.. They are open from 10:30 AM until 10:30 PM. Slots are every 20 minutes. Of course everyone would have to pay for themselves for Lazer Tag ( http://planetlazer.net/index.htm ) . $8.00 /game or 3 games for $18.00.

Langley is kind of central for most mainlanders, so everyone can go their own separate ways afterwards and it wont be too far for most people. I live in Mission so its not too far. People from Vancouver/Surrey/Richmond have quick and easy routes home (not too far from Highway 1). Point of meeting in Mission is to wait for some of neighbors from the south to come up depending on the crossing they pick, fairly easy to locate Mission. (I'll provide exact maps as we near).

I call that fairly action packed... Deal everyone? Just need an absolute decision on time. If we should meet earlier on in the morning or mid-day. Dinner, we would be looking at a restaurant or pub in Langley.

Oh.. and side note.. please let me know if your bringing someone with you, that way I can get a headcount if I need to make reservations for how many people its going to be for!

Now imagine how I feel.

The lastest news is the car will be finished with the conversion/chassis on March 1st.
Allow 5-8 weeks for the car to be reasembled/tuned and then 3 weeks for the interior/paint. That means sometime in May.
I am doing all that I can to speed up the process but in the end, it needs to be done right.
In the end I will have been without my car for 2 years.

Smack-down, not really but I outlined my position in a well crafted email, followed up by a phone call.
All seems to be well except for Macias Racing who ripped me off for $2500.US for the crankshaft.

Just for future reference, no forming a circle around my car when it finally gets home.
