This 2.5 Gallon tank from Devils Own is the first water-methanol tank with a built in sump and fluid control baffle. This eliminates the pickup being uncovered during sprinted driving. Because of the tanks quality design and it featuring a real sump in it, you can run the tank down to approximately 1 qt of fluid before uncovering the pickup. This tank is made with 1/4" thick HDPE, which is the same material and construction that is commonly used in manufacturing fuel cells.



Dimensions are 8" x 13.5" x 8.5". So It's best suited for trunk placement.

This is for a 09 ss turbo, any advice as how to mount and set up would be greatly appreciated.

Tank, you will want to mount that in the right rear corner of your trunk. Then wrap the tubing to the left and run it down in the back corner. Be sure to put some bushing between the sheet metal and the tubing. Then just run the tubing under the car till the engine bay. Then just run it up to the charge pipe and drill a hole in the rubber coupler and attach the nozzle to it. Be sure to put a dab of lock tite on the nozzle mounting adapter.

This 2.5 bar controller that came with the kit, will it work on the 3 bar gms1 sensors? Also the 2.5 controller only goes to 20 on the dial. Just on my stage 1 tune i spike 23-24 and hold 21psi. Will this controller work or can i swap it out for another you guys have?

if you are going to hook up the controller to a 3 bar map sensor you will want our 3 bar controller. if you have the factory map it should be a 2.5 bar. the 2.5 bar map only works up to 22.5psi. Anything over that and it just sends the same signal.

yes, i would like to swap it out for the 3 bar. It just came last friday the 25th and is still in the plastic wrap. Now i know i have to pay to ship back to you but do i also have to pay to come back to me? Also how do you prefer it shipped (carrier and such)?

lol, the kit is nice.... I got the tank upgrade with a stg 2 kit. The tank is very robust, Has internal baffles to keep from sloshing around to uncover the pump tap. Also tank comes with a lvl sensor that hooks to the controller for safety measures. Very Simple to put together for the most part, wiring will be the hardest and that’s not that difficult.

 

i already had the kit just upgrading to a bigger tank. i meant to grab it cuz the 20 bucks off shyt
