Trust me in that people care they are just too lazy to make a post about it, but that is encouraging b/c he said he only has the pulley not the whole piggy back kit and is running 14.1. With drag radials and a good driver I imagine that can be knocked down to a 13.6-13.8 which is incredible with that only mod cannot wait until the market starts flooding like it did for the srt-4's then we will be talking serious numbers. Like CAI, Stage 2 from GM, headers w/ 3" cat back, and drag radials you will see high 12's if not mid 12's.
210 Stock
+8 KN CAI
+40 Stage 2 (GM) or PSI-Fi
+10 3" Catback (Custom or Altered Atmosphere)
+17 Headers and CAT (TOG whenever they come out)
=285 to the wheels LOOK OUT!!!!!!
If you have the G-85 package and drag radials, definately a 12 second car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe that's all he did was get the 2.8" pulley and tensioner. No other mods, no codes, nothing. I really don't care about the gauge hitting 18psi as long as i know the power is there. The boost gauge is just cool to look at.

G85 won't make a lick of difference getting better times other then one more wheel that's hopping (stock). Throw some torque braces in with drag radials and yeah... then the car is some competition. Otherwise standard SS/SC with the one wheel moving has the same advantage as LSD minus extended handling on corners.

I do agree though that this car is more then capable of 12's. Things have to magically be made in the winter time to enjoy that next year. Power adders don't always equate to the numbers posted above. That's what you *COULD* get depending on how well the car accepts them..

Sorry but having a hard time believing that time with that 60ft and trap speed. I need to see a timeslip, without a timeslip it's BS. Say what you want, but 14.1@98MPH with a 60FT of 2.2 just doesn't compute. I mean honestly stock Cobalt SS have trapped 98MPH, and this guy is modified and still traps at 98MPH, so you would think he got a great launch or something, but nope, he only did a 2.2 60ft. Sorry not bashing the Cobalt, because it's one of the cars on my list to buy in Feb., but I'm not gonna fall for BS. Timeslip?

Haven't done much racing w/ forced induction cars have you?

These were back when my car was stock and I was learning how to launch it. As you can see 14.1@98 DOES "compute."

Remember that as 60' times improve both ET and Trap Speeds go down. My car drops 5mph and about 1.2 seconds going from a 2.4 60' to a 2.0 60'

2 wheels are better than one. 4 wheels are better than 2. so how could having two tires help pull you forward not be better than one tire pulling you forward?
