Holy those things are heavy!

Didn't Huckernage get his down to like 2300lbs??

Get some slicks...should run low 14's if not crack a 13.

That weight is killing you tho, get the sawsall out! :P

Hitting the track tonight (on a first date no less, hah).

Maybe I can do better than my 14.5. Still stock though.

Short shifter came in today, won't have time to install before track, and Hahn is playing push-your-ship-date-back again, now guesstimated for 6/13 (ordered 4/28 )

Buy slicks over DRs and save some money + better traction + you won't snap axles and then you save even more money on not buying axles.

Its a win, win.

Nope, it's not the hook that breaks em

Slicks safer than DR, IMO

What's your logic behind that? I am gonna buy some soon and have been flip flopping back and forth on slicks vs DR's. Your input would be much appreciated.

Slicks being safer than DRs really only applies if you haven't done front and rear tranny mounts, because axle snapping is from wheel hop.

No hope (or whatever reason), HIGHLY UNLIKELY to snap an axle.

Soon enough. My car trapped over 118 just playing around on low boost a few weeks ago. I didnt launch the car hard enough to pull a good time though.

If your weather is anything like Pittsburgh's this year, I've only gotten 1 day at the track in, and it's already June.

Yep only had a couple days here so far. We are still working on the tune in my car though. Also now I am officially done with school and passed my boards so I dont have that to worry about now.

that doesn't mean **** in 2011. This is the 2011 thread, not the... "well my car did this last year and i don't wanna pull up timeslips" thread.
