Summit Motorsports Park aka Norwalk Raceway Openned up this past weekend. they were suposed to open saturday but due to rain it was delayed to sunday.

Sunday was a nice day, except for the fact that the wind was constantly at 50mph. the tracked took it down to 330ft racing But thats ok because i was there to mess with the 2step and practice gettin off the light. the event is called "spring warm-up" and i treated it exactly like that.

since i havent put the drag tires on it yet i ran the 2step at 3000RPM and set it to half throttle enables it. this is so i dont spin right off the line and can manage the pedal while on street tires.

i can run 2.0 60fts, as i did the first run using just my feet. but i could only make the 2step run a 2.1

I'm sure itll be nice with the slicks and dont think thats too bad of a drop for the first time out with it.

car ran 5.8's on the 330

Yea the wind was nuts. I would of been there but don't have enough miles on the car yet and I have tests this week to worry about. Once you get it down you should pull some easy 1.8's off.

 

chris, this was on the street tires still. i couldnt find a trailer so didnt through the slicks on.

pretty much every weekend. I'm going this weekend, but i doubt we'll get any racing in. oh well, motorhomes and alcohol to substitute.

too expensive? lol you can run in stock, which is 15 bucks. isnt wednesday night 12 bucks?

you should come out and pit with us, we have a blast. this weekend youre gonna see the jet truck and jet cars and the fastest wheel stander at 150mph. you should definitely consider it.

can't do it this weekend. got alot of work around the house to get done. we will meet up at the track this summer for sure. i could probably do one saturday.
