Not every car is the same, my car easily picks up 30+ in the back half and as high as 35 if I spin off the line. But my car on the stock turbo only picked up about 20. Your tracks timing system is not lying to you lol. You just are not educated on the topic

My car picks up 30mph in the backhalf, thanks. And yes, my tracks sensors WERE badly aligned for my car. Any run in the left lane gave good logical numbers. Any run the right gave identical ET and inflated mph. Every single time. I dont trust tracks. Quartermile acceleration is pretty standard in most cars. If he's hitting 119, he should be 93-94 in the 1/8th. His slip looks weird and i'm questioning it. I saw the vid, great launch and shifting. A 1.85 60 at that mph should be well into the 11s. It certainly was when my car trapped that high.

I was just wondering if anyone else noticed the strange discrepency.

I understand the concern, but I have slips on all my setups and they progressively pick up more in the back half as I mod more (naturally), but this is over the course of years. On stock blower I was picking up 25mph IIRC on E85 and a 2.7 pulley making probably just shy of 300whp. I'd have to look at the slip to confirm. On most of my runs I was picking up 28-29mph this time out, with 2 30 mph runs. This one and the one a ran slower but trapped 119.0. For comparisons sake, my friends 432whp stock turbo Evo cut a 1.66 60' and ran an 11.6 @119.6. He was trapping just over 90mph in the 1/8. When we run from a roll he gets out about half a car and I start to catch him when I grab 4th.

Does your car run consistent boost in all gears? It's possible the track could be lying about both your cars. Or not. Maybe your shift is at the 1/8th mark and it's skewing it a little. (I know mine has). Only way to really see is to hit up another track for fun and see how things go.

I love the track, and i was really sad when i finally figured out what the hell was amiss at my local one. Bout a year and a half ago on my old turbo and street tune i was running extremely consistent. 12.4's@114 in the left lane. Then i hit up the right lane for a few passes. Consistent 12.4's@118. It made me stare at the slips and remember the last half dozen times i'd been to the track, it had been doing the exact same thing and i didnt even realize it.

Keep up the good work. I'm in for more results for sure. What are your MPH shift points?

Thanks man. Only my 1st gear has boost reduction. Not postive of my shift points on the tall slicks. On the street 3rd goes to just shy of 115mph and on these slicks I had a little rpm left in 3rd at 119. 2nd to 3rd should be just at or a little above 80 mph. I know guys that drag race all over and have said that they actually trap higher and run a little quicker at other tracks in the area, although this year there was a neglible difference because new owners took over and maintained it MUCH better.
