Ya, I tried something simular at Milan. I pulled into the water.. then they told me to roll forward a bit out of it. I then pulled the parking break like you said and dumped the clutch in 2nd gear at 2000-2500...slightly lower then you said.... the tires started to break loose and then the clutch just went up reving... I released the parking break and didn't move........guy told me I just fried my clutch and laughed....
