So last night, Nate (nramlow2006), Derek (onecoldbizel), and myself decided to hit up culvers to grab some food and shill. Nate had had the jumbo mushroom and onion burger, derek had a cheese burger, and i had chicken strips. It was tasty. Anyways after we were done eating derek left, so nate an di decided to cruise hwy 100. Usually 7ish is too early to cruise, but w/e, i didnt care cuz i wasnt doing anything afterwards anyways. While we were cruising, we got stuck at a red light, so i cut over in the middle lane so i was infront of all the cars. While i was sitting there i saw a blue subaru wrx with a catback exhaust, magnaflow decals, and tinted windows, he turned left (so he was heading in the same direction as myself and nate.) I floored it to catch up to him. When i caught him, i didnt need to say anything nor honk. He was thinking the same thing I was. RACE TIME!. We were looking around for cops, making sure that therew were none around, and made sure that there were no cars infront of us. No cars, 3 lanes of empty street. I put my shakey hand on the shift knob (havent raced in a month or so, so i was a little nervous). Suddenly I heard the sound of a boxer engine accelorating and a turbo spooling, I floored it. Suddenly, all you heard was the sound of my supercharger, and my loud exhaust. I was by his driver side mirror until I heard the sound of his Greddy BOV, he shifted, i was still at around 5800-6k rpm, i hit 3rd, and pulled even with him. It felt like forever, but then he shifted again, and started dropping back. 1/4 of the way through 4th gear he was by my back bumper. I won. That was the fastest wrx that i have ever raced. We pulled into the gas station, looked at each others cars, he had an upgraded turbo, intake, exhaust, and needed a tune. My mods are stg 2, intake, exhaust. After that nate and i kept crusing. As we were crusing, my buddy in his silver wrx pulled out, and he had some hot chick with him, could have been his new gf, or just some chick he was gonna bang, who knows, anyways, he wanted to race me from a roll, so I did. I put like 2 lengths on him. All he has is intake, exhaust and a bov. Then the girl next to him told me she liked my car, and they drove off. As nate and I pulled up to the next stoplight, there was black gen2 eclispe GS with a HUGE fartcan. Suddenly nate yells, "hey, do you know what gs stands for?" "Gay Sex." I LOL'd. Light turned green and I heard it was turbo'd. So i pulled up next to him, and needless to say, I smoked him hardcore. I guess you could say by bus lengths. Because i beat him soo badly, i told nate to go race him. So nate eggs him on, and they race. Nate put a 1/4 of a car on him. Straight badass. Best part was, he asked nate if he was supercharged and nate was like "Na, I have a 2.2L with intake and exhaust." The guy looked like he wanted to drive his car into a wall I love seeing nate beat turbo'd cars, like del sols and eclipses, and civics. oh, and nate has a 2.2L. After that we decided to head home, and 10 minutes after we got on the freeway, i was crusing behind nate, and he tapped his brakes, and put on his right directional. First thing that popped in to my head was, **** cop, until i heard the sound of a v8 downshifting next to me. Yes, it was a mustang with a body kit. He downshifted and took off, i threw my car in 3rd, caught him, and by 120 i was 1-2 cars ahead of him. After that, i was sooo jacked, i knew i had to post about it on css.net. I do not condone streetracing. If you do it, do it smart and safe, otherwise dont do it. I did not race in heavy traffic, when i raced, there were no cars infront of us.
