13 psi to 26psi

heatsoak is a major player when the intercooler is the stock smic.

i can't remember the specifics of it. it's now 2008, and that was in the summer of 01.

Hate to doubt you, but I don't think its possible. Low 13's definitely but not a 12. Like Area said, the power just isn't there and you without a doubt can not cut a 1.6 60 foot.

Great driver, great previous times, lack of power.

This will be attempted at KCIR in October.

wow, I don't think I'll trap that high on slicks, but interesting guess.
why not?? i trapped 104 and ran a 14.5...so what does that say?? launching at bradenton sucks, plus with P-Zero Neros there was no traction, plus minor clutch slippage.

That was with the mods in my sig, after a S2 tweak.

I've got a slew of other parts to put on, and some other stuff planned I dont have listed in my sig. I'm hoping for low 13's on my KDW's...without spray.

But hell ralli, go ahead and get the Sneeky Pete NOS kit and hide it...and if you cant do it without, hit it with that little bit and you should make it

No nitrous. LOL. NONE. I don't want to spray. and I don't have quite as many mods as you do and I have slicks, which is why I don't think I'll trap that high.

If he would go to a shorter slick he would get a couple more MPH out of it i bet.

he is using the size i should be on my car, and i know from experience that using a 28 instead of a 26 is eating a couple MPH off my trap speed.

you're right. That is a small problem. But it is only .3inches taller than the stock wheels and tires setup. But if I did go to a hoosier qtp 24" tall slick, I'd pick some up for sure.

your modding theories are the gayest i have ever seen

rally you make me laugh hard.

will ralliartist break 12's with drag bags and an amazing 60 foot who knows, but this " my way of modding is better then anyone else's has been for years" bullshit theory you have has gotten seriously BORING and annoying.

truth be told, no one cares if you think your smarter then us all. ALL THOSE COOLING MODS TAKE THE SUPERCHARGER TOO AND PAST IS OPTIMAL TEMPS, you arent gonna gain MORE time with MORE cooling mods.

your only hope is that area gives yo ua sexy tune.... and if so, then its he, and not you who should receive the credit.

PEACE

i thought i would add, only quarter mile noobs really care about times. The trap speed is all you should care about.

especially in a front wheel drive car.

god damn.

.
and every sanctioned drag racing orginization there is.

and MPH isnt a true snapshot of the cars speed but rather an estimation based on times elasped from one trap sensor to another. Thats why a lot of times spinning bad in the first 60' or 330' and then coming on strong will give falsely high MPH's.

People care about a 1/4 time because its a barometer of measurement for everyone to use.

ok, check yourself fool. I never said that my ways of modding were WAY better than everyone elses. I am only implying, that everyone with supercharged cobalts should buy cooling mods first, as they support the car for future mods, like pullies and what not. If you just add a pulley, the temps get crazy high, and even though you may make some more hp/tq, the heat will bring you back down. With our LONG ASS gearing, you really do need to rev this car out a little bit to get any benefits.

AS for you thinking that the cooling mods take the supercharger past optimal temps, your an idiot. With all the cooling mods I'm adding, I'm making the supercharger more efficient. You can CLEARLY see this with my trap speed increases.

And what the **** do you mean only noobs care about their quarter mile times. That's like what everyone wants that drag races, low times. The way I see it, if you trap 130mph, and run 13's, then you suck at driving and are probably a noob at drag racing.

Also, what the **** do you mean area should get all the credit cause he will give me an AWESOME TUNE if I break 12's. I think I'm the one BUYING the mods and tune for my car and I'm the one DRIVING the car down the track. Of course, I'll give area props for giving me the tune, but I still PAID for it.

Clearly, your a troll, and trolls are annoying. So I ask you to keep any more ridiculous posts out of my thread. You can post why you don't think I'll hit a 12, but there is no reason for you to come out like you did and say everything I've done is bullshit. I've gained quite a bit of power from the way I've been modding, more than just throwing a pulley on. And I've beaten quite a few pullied cobalts in omaha too. The reason I've beaten the pullied cobalts is a combination of driving and them over heating with those small ass pullies.

ALL THOSE COOLING MODS TAKE THE SUPERCHARGER TOO AND PAST IS OPTIMAL TEMPS, you arent gonna gain MORE time with MORE cooling mods.
I say your DEAD WRONG. And I've already proved it, be prepared to be proved wrong again.
