i run on wed night. they don't prep the track on wed. i usually do consistant 2.20's all night long. if i got less aggressive with the boost control, i could drop the 60ft, but the clutch would suffer

by the way, here is a big reason why my et's are so low. No boost/tq limiting here. I use all the power I got dumping over 5Krpms right off the line. Most people are throttling it or electronically controlling all the power right off the line. I'm full throttle as soon as the light goes green.

When I had my 2.5 ring on, I did better with full boost in all gears than I did with limiting 1st.

ok no offense ralliart, i can see that cooling mods are great for the car and everything, you said you gained quite a bit of power off of them but you are only 222whp. a $50 pulley could put you past 222whp and youve spent quite a bit on cooling mods ONLY to get you to that point

there's a reason I haven't gotten a pulley yet. I'm still trying to figure out the perfect pulley for me, the one that won't overspin the blower and cause too much heat. Plus, if you noticed all the people posting and the amount of people that voted NO, I obviously got something to prove now.

Are you going to run with a tune on 93, or tuned for race gas?
Something I found at the dyno with my car was wheel weight makes a big difference in WHP.
back in the winter (very cold temps, inflated dyno #'s) I did dyno runs on my 16" alum wheels for winter (17.5 lbs), and then switched to the stock wheel/tire and did a comparison.
266WHP with the winters, 251 with the OEM 18's.
The 15hp difference wasn't just at the peek either, it was pretty consistent throughout the whole powerband.
If your drag wheels aren't light, you could pick up some more power there.
This is another reason that people with 16" drag wheels/tires do so much better, not only is their traction better, but they pickup more WHP since the heavy wheels aren't robbing it.
Ralli, I wish you luck, but unless you get a kickass tune on race gas (even with the 75/25 meth mix) and a perfect run, I just don't see 12's, close to it, but probably not there.

my 16" drag wheels are definitely lighter than stock, and I'm getting tuned on 89 octane pump gas with my meth. I can run as much timing as needed though, so race gas isn't gonna do much for me.

I voted yes because I'd love to see it, your cooling approach is something different that seems to be working. I'm sure your driver mod helps too.
Best of luck to you Ralli.

I hope you hit it, beacuse then it'll just set the bar even higher for what is possible with the stock s/c and no nitrous. When you crack 12's on a stock pulley and no weight( if you dont this year I'm sure you will with killer chiller and the new intake manifold like you said), it wont seem like as much of a big deal that people hit high 12's on 2.5's. I just cant wait to see what your gonna hit with a smaller pulley, I dont you'd go as low as a 2.5 or 2.6, but maybe a 2.7 or 2.8 and 60's? It'd be pretty sweet to see a car with a 2.7 and 60's running low to mid 12's,lol.
