okay, you said shift kits, and I thought you meant there was an internal upgrade kit for the cobalts

Ive had this on mine for about 2 months & love it!

 

If B&M or TCI provided a manual shift valve body so that you would have to manualy shift through the gears, but without a clutch -- that would get the manual tranny owner's panties all bunched up!

 

does anyone know where the wires/which wires your supposed to wire tap in the 2008 models? pictures would be helpful, im not seeing any light blue or red wires that was shown in the how-to.

Put tthe wire threw the fire wall


I like my connnection method, get the light blue wire with a White stripe and orange with a black stripe NOT THE ONES TWISTED TOGETHER!!!


Tape Red wire of shift plus with orange and black of the shift plus with the Blue


AND TADA!!!

these sound cool and im thinking of getting one but im wondering about the long term effects of it on the tranny. Any one had one for like 6 months to a year? with no problems? daily driver?

Increasing line pressure does not hurt a transmission.

 

just installed it today, i must say, its like a sling shot at the shift point, i had A CEL but it went away and no problems, not bad for the budget mod

 

will this void the warranty??????

yes its for an automatic and yes for the 2.2...and its a cheap mod to do...and all it does is it makes your car shift faster...or you can a tune for your tranny and call it a day.

 

So its awesome then? lol
