Best clutch for LNF?
I spent about the same, maybe $50 less for the SPEC stage 2+ with the lightweight flywheel compared to the Exedy.
I lost load though & the turbo spools a bit slower. I used to see over 300% air load in HP Tuners, now it peaks 280-290% on the same tune.
I think I'd stay with the stock flywheel & a ZZP clutch if I had to do it over.

Sweet thx.. kinda figured it was the way to go.. just wanted to check with others first.. My clutch is slipping a little in the higher gears right now.. with just a tune.. 345 lbs of torque and I plan on puttin some parts in it this year so a clutch is definately in order.
I just installed a Clutchmaster stage 4 and I even have a 55/57 turbo upgrade. It is about $ 600 and you can't believe how great it is. No slipping and the pedal is not any harder than when I had the stock clutch. Definately the best if you consider the cost and the fact that I have no clutch slip (I put 410whp down) and as I said, the pedal feels the same as stock

Ok... I blew two clutchmasters within two weeks. I used ky clutch 3 times ( different clutches) for testing and all were great. Ky clutch has a 1 year warranty with there clutches. That says somthing when evveryone else is 3-6 months. Zzp clutch is nothing special since its a pressure plate and a friction disc lol. The materials clutches are made out of is what counts. And ky clutch only uses the best.... Its more or less opinions.. Lets say this semi trucks use ky clutch because of how durable and how long they last. Theres built cars that have had the ky clutch in for the past 3-4 yesrs no issue..
Ok, to whoever wants to know the answer to this question: you will never get a good answer, this thread could go for ten years and you will never actually fiber it out. I just put a KY clutch in my car a week ago and its awesome. That's what I know.
Price goes from 300+ depending what you want. I have experience with spec clutchmasters and y clutch. Spec and clutchmasters didnt hold ky clutch did. And they have a good warranty.... No issues what so ever.
