Can't shift into reverse

Hi, I've been searching for something involving this and haven't found any answers, I have an 09 SS and a while ago I found myself incapable of shifting into reverse. Every other gear works fine, maybe second fights a little at high rpm, but I've never noticed anything else. I pulled the shift assembly apart, cleared the reverse lockout manually by pulling up and the shift cables move but nothing gives, we pulled the trans apart and seems like we were able to get it in using the shift levers and nothing seemed out of place inside, got it in once recently but haven't been able to get it in since, and I wasn't really expecting it so didn't notice what changed, any ideas?

When you pulled it all apart, did you try adjusting the shift cables? The procedure here works with aftermarket ones, but if you have the stock shifter still it's the one to try.
