Changing the fluid.
I am going to be changing my tranny fluid and filter this week. I know I need a long neck funnel. Is there anything else that I will need or need to know. I am going to put in on ramps in the front and I am going to put the rear on jack stands. Should I get a level and make sure its completely level or can I do it by eye.
I read in my haynes manual that to check the level of the fluid There is something near the bottom of the tranny that I need to remove and fill it until the fluid until it comes out of the hole and when it stops that means its full.
Are there any oddball bolts or special tools other than a socket i.e torx (sp?) if so what size?
Or any other constructive ideas?
Thanks!
Its an 07 LS
