Does Anybody Problems W/ Axel Seals?
to much oil in the transmission? thats easy to do, if it is not a measured fill. F35 SC Fluid capacity (approximate): 1.7L / 2.0 us qt ( dry ); too much oil and it could leak out as pressure builds up there is a vent but its hard to find. Unless its leaking from the seal at the intermediate shaft on the passenger side, in which case the housing could be damaged. Almost impossible to diagnose this stuff via internet...
When I used to work at a tire shop, I hated it when those things were torn. The owners would drive around for 6 months to a year, and not even know it had happened.
I hated it cuz the grease would spray all over the inside of the wheels, and then I go and grab the inside of the wheel and get a handfull of grease. It happened twice, and from then on I always wore gloves.
I'm glad you caught it soon. Good luck with getting it fixed.
