i have done a lot of research on it and come up with some answers and a whole lot more what ifs
-i know the spline count on the f35 axle is the same as the f40, so the drivers side axle will pop right in. what i dont know is if the diff centerline is exactly the same between them, this comes into play with the seatdy shaft and bearing as if its not in the right spot itll take out diff carrier bearings and steady bearings. if they are not the same, a steady bearing from a saab may need ot be used, or mabey the whole shaft.
-the saab turbo comes with an 8 bolt crank, so the f40 flywheel and clutch should bolt right up. what i dont know is if the f40 clutch and flywheel is the same as the f35.
-mounts would all be custom
-shifter anbd cables iant really hard to figure out, just be creative..

the g6 did come with an f40, however its the wrong bellhousing bolt pattern. the g6 with the f40 was only a 3.9l v6, so it used the small gm bolt pattern, not the ecotec pattern. im sure you could use the same adapter that is used for the 4t65e race tranny, however it would be a lot easier to use the saab 9-3 version of the f40 that is mated to an ecotec.
