So I've come to the conclusion that I might have to let my spare trans go. Money will be going elsewhere and I was thinking there might be interest here to buy this from me.

It was in my balt and I replaced it with a new unit because 2nd gear started to grind. Everything else is perfectly fine with it and it had 3 fluid changes before I swapped it out.

I was going to send it in to get 2nd gear synchro replaced and possibly swap in 4.45 gears to use a race trans but I haven't had the time or money yet to tear into it. I'd hate to have it just sit around and go to waste.

Doing it yourself is always cheapest - That's what I was gonna do.

I'm not 100% sure on how much a shop would charge but if you brought it to them and they didn't have to uninstall and reinstall it, I would say $400 or less in parts and labor.

It's quite the process to take the trans apart and remove the diff.

Yup, stock LNF final drive of 3.82.
