LNF Trans help

Hey guys, so this happened to me while heading to work, I was in first gear getting on to the freeway when my gear just popped out. I pulled over to the side and i couldnt put my car into gear, any gears. So i turned off the car and that was the only way the gears go in when the car was off. Any help guys? Its my daily and i have about 172k on it. I have stage 4 southbend/findaza flywheel, new clutch master cylinder, TOB. All these parts were installed about 7 months ago. So everything is brand new.

Sounds like a clutch release issue. Is it leaking brake fluid underneath?

No leaks, the pedal is fine just feels a bit stiffer.

Cables stretched? Or did you break a roll pin? Does it grind? I agree it could be an issue with engagement. Anyway the clutch or flywheel could have worn enough to not allow enough stroke for the tob?

Im going to check the cables today to see if i find anything, but no it doesnt grind. When the car is off it goes into gear. When its on i cant put it into gear even holding down the clutch pedal.

Im right there with you, I bought the exact same clutch 7 months ago after blowing apart 1 factory clutch, and 2 clutchmasters fx100. Bought the south bend one and used a factory flywheel. Saw so many good reviews on it and figured it would hold together better than the last 3 clutches but this makes me a lil worried. I don't launch or beat my car to death either, I am however full bolt ons and pushing 23 psi so that may have helped kill mine.

Yeah hopefully everything works out for you, it sucks going through this. So I was emailing back and fourth a representative named Dj and he was very helpful. I sent him pics and he basically took a look at the clutch and said the clutch might have been bent before or after the installation. Meaning put on wrong and that it was at an angle while operating, that is what he told me. All in all he sent me a need disc only not the pressure plate. That he said was still okay to use. Well see how this holds up.

As long as there is no blue spots, more than likely you will be ok, if there is blue hazing anywhere than your going to get clutch chatter because it's warped.
