need input asap

So i blew up my cv (like literally grenaded everywhere) but i pulled it on the passenger side to replace it, but as im lookin around, I got an automatic, all the cv's 4 the auto 06 chevy cobalt 2.2 r female ends that go into the tranny. The manuals on the other hand are male ends, which my old one was. So obviously im a lil confused by this, so i was just wonderin if neone else has encountered this problem b4 n if the manual 2.2L cv's will fit?

I fail to see how this is a problem. Order a CV for an auto trans. Should be the same.

Thats wut i did, but the auto trans cv has a female connector the goes into the trans, I need the one with the male connector, but the only ones wit that r the manual trans cv's, so im tryin to c if neone has had this problem b4 since i have an automatic trans, n if theyre the same length n splines match n all that good stuff

A quick answer can be found at www.gmpartsdirect.com. If the part numbers are the same you know they are identical.
