^^^ this. car can flex a lot depending where the hoist picks it up; as it gets older, flexes more.

/flex.

Ive got upper and lower motor mounts and both tranny mounts on my 04 Jbody, and its a hell of a lot stiffer and vibrates a little..doesn't bother me because I love the feel of a super stiff car that's very responsive.

however...don't be surprised if your plastic dash pieces start to crack after a few months if you go too stiff..my mint interior has about 6 cracks all over after a few months of poly mounts. I'd do it all over again even knowing it would crack though lol

I haven't readjusted anything, I just left it like it was after I installed it, and it has gotten better after only a few hundred miles. I think part of the problem too is my clutch chatters, so taking off in reverse, first, and sometimes the 1-2 shift would vibrate pretty badly.

The interior is really what I was more worried about than the actual vibration itself. I don't want a rattly POS, been there done that.

I'm just going to keep driving it for now.

my cavy has that crack you're talking about.

Used to run poly mounts in it. Although, my sisters stock cavalier has the same stress crack.

i dont think its possible to eliminate all wheel hop, its just a fact of front wheel drives. i have a brand new suspension, and all the mounts except motor(even there i have a ingalls stiffy) i still get very minor wheel hop.

Ingalls does zip. Cars that have power hop include corvette c5 c6. Mercedes AMG various models. Cars that don't have it in rwd include c4 and f car previous gen. But those models suffer from
Huge rear brake hop when extra brake bias goes to the rear.in fwd The new sonic has brutal power hop but not a lot of power. Most auto makers deal with it through traction control electronically. AMG you can not turn it off. There is a difference between transmission breaking power hop
And light axle tram from various other infrequent issues.
