Transmission Teardown/Reassembly

Well, I'm getting tired of looking at the Cobalt sitting in the driveway finally, and I'm looking to take on the task of fixing/building up my tranny. Does anyone have the teardown/reassembly procedure available? Please post them or PM me. Some pointers or helful hints would be great as well. Thanks ahead of time.

Yep, after reading the first 47 pages, I've decided to nix this project. I will gladly pay someone else because it is way to involved for my impatient self. That looks like a week long project everday for 12 hours a day!

yeah man I told ya... only tranny I"ve seen actually rebuilt was darksun's and his car was down for months, and was never right again. GM usually just replaces the tranny.
just and FYI on the rl forums someone is selling a complete 04 motor and tranny for $1500
