Will the dealer give me trouble? PIC

Noticed oil leaking from what I guess is Valve Cover Gasket.? I have GM dealer installed stage 2 and exhaust, but I have a generic Cold Air Intake that I put on about 20,000 miles ago. This is a new problem by the way. So im wondering if the dealer will give me troubles about doing warranty work because of the CAI? I dont have the original air filter system other wise I'd just throw that back on.. So im looking for some advice and I guess if anyone has experience with this should I buy a stock filter to put on before I take it to the dealer?

They shouldnt, the CAI will really do nothing to cause this...

if they give you any BS bring up the Magnusson moss act...
they have to prove your aftermarket part DIRECTLY caused the damage.

Sounds good thanks for the advice. Also, how pressing of an issue is this? I have a trip planned for tomorrow that has be driving 2 hours and I wont be back until Sunday. Should I try to reschedule or will this be ok to drive with?

I doubt they would give you any trouble at the dealer.

I'd never drive the car with oil leaking (except maybe to the dealer if they were close by). Especially not a 2 hour trip.

like mentioned that is "seepage" you are losing very little oil, just to be safe, before you set out on your trip top up your oil level. Bring an extra quart with you and check it after an hour of driving.
You will be fine

hopefully you just need a new gasket (unless there's something your not telling us. I'm not really sure what would cause that.) Which is a very easy R & R

did you try to snug it down a bit and also have you checked the pcv valve that can make oil start blowin out weird places if its stuck

as stated not a big issue lol mine leaked onto my manifold untill i just got tired of the smell of burning oil so i replaced the gasket and while i was at it i replaced the manifold with a header dp combo go me lol. top off the oil before and on the way back and ule be fine.

PS: DONT TRY TO FIX IT UR SELF if u break a bolt off or crack the valve cover or somethin stupid that will be ur fault lol DONT and i say DONT try and fix it just bring it in and get ur gasket replaced... my valve cover was warped when i first got my car so posably that happened to ur car.. not sure how there is not that much heat up there.if they see that u have tryed to do somethin there it will be blamed on u

They won't do anything until its at the drip stage. I have the same problem... Has to be worse than that.
