06 Cobalt SS/SC Getting Dynoed Today

So my friends has a mustang shop and neglected to tell me he had a dyno and is only 10 minutes down the road from me. If anyone lives in NJ and wants their car dynoed for around 100 let me know. Maybe i can talk him into a deal with a few of us going.

So because of this my car is getting dynoed today to see what it puts down before i mod it more.

Car is a 06 ss/sc with about 35k on it. GM Stage 2 and a Injen intake. With just that the car ran a 13.6@102.81.

Just added a 2.9 pulley from zzp yesterday and is getting it dynoed today at around 12pm.

Will keep everyone posted on how it does.

Yep definately in that range as someone suggested. Car put down 244hp with 225 torque.
Not sure if doing it outside in the middle of the day affects my numbers at all. Overall very pleased with the numbers it put down since its what i expected.

Mods:
GM Stage 2
Injen CAI Intake
2.9 GM ZZP Pulley

Friends Outside DynoJet:
YouTube - Cobalt SS/SC GM Stage 2

SO my buddy told me to go home and download the dynojet software and he gave me the file. I opened it up and set the smoothing to 5 and a setting of STD on the software and its giving me different numbers compared to what his laptop was showing.

Mine says 248hp/225tq? Any reason for this

Setting the smoothing to 1 list it at the following 277hp 256 torque. Whats the smoothing for?

Any information is appreciated.

If you look at the graph without smoothing, the peak probably happens with a tiny little spike for less then 25rpm, which is obviously a false reading. The smoothing makes the line a little smoother, and more realistic numbers.

What tires were on the car, drag radials (when you ran the 13.6) ?
