Lsj + mp90 dynoed!
Don't worry you can just touch mine when it's done :p should be good enough. Keep in mind an 8 is going to be an expensive proposition for gas and components, that's almost double the amount of stuff you have moving about...
Why would you get the weakest power train in a cobra ever? That tunnel ram V8 in those cobra's dont hold to well! IF your going to get a cobra get a 95! 5.0 baby! You could literally have about 1,000 HP with a 5.0 for under 5K
And a little side note is if it took you 3k to get a tunnel ram with allmost 300 HP and tq from factory your doing it wrong or paid the wrong people!

Even forged part's wont help there's no replacement for displacement(unless your talking termi cobra!) Ive put a 97 on the dyno myself While in school, For under 3k (in part's) in a 5.0 He could have over 500WHP and be completely safe, Dont that too!

1,000hp for UNDER 5K??? Share a link..
96 started the 4.6. Though if you really want an SN95 check into 95 Cobra R it had a 5.8L.

Link below is basically what the article i read was but a TT setup instead which is more costly than a S/C Setup

Well there is a nice replacement, and that would be boost, hence why the forged parts help. Plenty of 4-valve mod motors making 600 plus horses, and the 97/98 uses that same 4 valve with a different port design that makes it the tumble and not swirl port. Still don't know what a tunnel ram is, but I would be interesting in knowing the parts list for a reliable 3k dollar 5.0 that makes 500 wheel horses. And I don't pay people, I do the research, so I'm not seeing how my 160 original horse 5.0 out of a town car can make 300 horses at the same time.
