hmm ive done that on stock valve springs only on the track in third though

 

7800 i was still hitting limiter in 3rd right at the trap on my 15 inch slick setup. I did go 12.1. Ordering a 2.6 ring and idc 1000's. E85 shall be had. 11.80's all day. May have to bag, if i run a 11.70 ill be kicked off the track for no cage

 

7800 on stock springs would make me cringe lol. Trapping 116 I was about to hit my 7400rpm limiter, but I was on those damn 26" tires. Got some 24.5's and valve springs now

 

 

meh i wasnt worried. i am doing valve springs though. And honestly on the 24.5 setup like me youll need probably 7900 to go through in third

If I have to bring it above 7800 a few times so be it! I have the GMPP clutch in, ZZP springs and retainers in, IC system kink fixed, WOT box fixed (no more car turning off at wot :/ ) and 15" 24.5" slicks, just have to get wheels for them now.
