07+ Stock Head Unit Faceplates
Hey there!
I have a 2008 G5 with the stock GM head unit (big volume knob, aux) and I was wondering if the faceplate for the radio with all the buttons and the screen etc can be swapped for another one. Specifically I wanted to swap the factory green-lit faceplate for one from a Pontiac Torrent/G6 so that the radio is lit up in red like the gauges are. I really like the red lighting Pontiac had in all their other cars. The faceplates for the Torrent/G6 look the same as the ones in Cobalts but I was wondering if it would mess up my radio. I believe that the faceplates are removable but I wanted to check so I don't end up screwing up my radio.
