Advice to stop annoying vibration

After installing my Type R 12 in my car it was good for a while but now I'm getting an insane amount of annoying vibration/rattling from the rear deck. I can't listen to any music even at relatively quiet levels without it driving me insane! I did notice that the rattling was the child seat covers bouncing around and i popped one of the covers up and pulled up on the rear deck and the vibration stopped but once I let go of the cover and let the rear deck back down where it sits, it makes a hell of a lot of noise. I'm sure many of you have probably experienced this same problem before but I'm wonder what I should do to remedy it? It could be much better if I could find some way to prop up the rear deck or stuff something underneath it.

R u talking about the back-seat popper? If so theres a how to on relocating them... The cables rattle against the deck lid and vibrate until you relocate them

ok man just pick up your child seat belt covers and hold up on the deck and stuff a couple boxes of kleen-ex's in between the deck and the cover over it, it may take some time to do it but it will stop the rattle if you stuff enough in there!

HOLY **** RIGHT!!! I have not figured out what to do with that yet but it rattles insanely due to my exhaust and my subs as well. You know what I did to fix temporarily. I cut a penny in half and stuck it in between the cover and the mount. LOL sounds stupid but works absolutely perfect till I figure out something less janky.

As for the OP, here is what I did. The only rattle I have is from my doorhandles and my dome light cover as stated above. Take out those child seat cables, dynamat the inside of the decklid, take off the decklid cover and you will see the holes, just have to dynamat over the holes. ( I also did put larger bolts in my license plate lol)No more rattle

I fixed the dome light rattle with double-sided auto foam tape. Take the dome light lens out, take extremely small pieces of the foam tape and put the on the inside of the clip parts, and stick it back up there. I'm going on 2+ months without a single rattle from it, but I'm currently battling a severe rattle in the passenger pillar where it meets the headliner.

i belive someone did already. foam is a good fix for the dome light but give it about a year and u will need to replace it. not bad IMO but its not a perm fix... or at least wasnt for me. guess i need to remember the caliber of my car every once in a while

Yeah, I wouldn't see this as a perma fix either, but I have a single 200w 12" in my car, and it is never set loud due to having kids and I hate being drowned out by bass. I need the rattles fixed due to crappy roads, and rattles are irritating :'(
