I use a whistler window mount, it works really good, had a couple of my buddies help me test it in their squad cars (Military police, they have all bands and laser) really good range, but with any detector, laser hits, you get ticket.

However, for the fact that it's hidden and i'm in VA where they are illegal, and it has VG2 (Cops can't tell you have it), i'd say the price is fair.

Not entirely true, they have some out now that will block laser for 10 seconds

well if they don't get a hit for laser, thats probable cause to pull you (at least on federal property). So maybe I should rephrase, you get hit (or don't) with laser, your getting pulled.

Thats tight, I like! yea it is alittle pricey, but might be worth an investment hopefully someone gets it and reviews it so people can know if it is really worth it or not.

how does it have 360 degree protection then?

the whole thing sounds fishy to me. If someone more reputable made one like Valentine or Bel then maybe but....

definately a neat idea...I'm not much on Radar detectors, but I might look into this one for the g/f, since she can't seem to look out for Cops. She won't know what it is till it yells at her to slow down..lol

if anyone has one, let us know how it works. I've heard of wistler, didn't think they were a bad brand, not the best, but not bad.

Beltronics!!!! Beltronics makes radar detectors and they also manufacture radar guns. They seem to have really great detectors and a nice hidden unit. Check out their site for more. Personally, I bought my g/f one (now my ex) and it was the best I'd ever seen. I like the higher end models where you can turn off the X band and do other custom set-ups.
