Bypassing New Deck Video lock

Okay guys...as part of my negotiations with the dealership my new car comes with the JVC Arsenal KW-NT1 double din nav system. They have the audio shop come to the dealership to install it so I couldn't talk with the guys. Now there's no special press the brake hold pull ebrake blah blah blah it's just this one wire tap like in the diagram below.

so in order to bypass this all I would have to do is take the tap off the ebrake switch and tap it into an accessory line so when i turn the car on it gets a signal right?

I have a JVC 7" Touch screen running in my car.
All I did was take the ebrake ground and twist it together with the ground wire from the HU then connect that to the ground wire coming from my car.

In short, mines grounded to the same ground as the rest of the deck.

JVC's are easy to do.
It's those damn Pioneer's that are a pain in the ass. re-pin harness and adding relays cuz it need to know that the ebrake was up then down then up again. When did they make CD players so smart. A little less money spent doing this aliitle more spent into I dunno, Higher voltage preouts, and god its 2009 damn it why are optical outs not offered on at least one product line up by every manufature, don't even get me started with the USB....
Sorry I didn't mean to rant in your thread

because if you crash do to watching a video while driving the manufacture of the hu could potentially be liable. if they make it complete bullshit to bypass and you do it you have no standing

You see thats whats wrong with the world today.
Its the company who makes the HU's fault....Not the idiot who was driving and watching a movie at the same time.
Ever since that chic spilled coffee on herself and sued McDonalds the world has become "Liability" happy.
I like this one, don't blame the guy who went to work and started shooting people blame the gun company, yet the US const. states you all have the right to bear arms.

Don't mind me I don't mean to come off like a jerk, I'm having a bad day

from what ive gathered you could just ground it. If not alot of people just ground it with a switch which just tricks the system into thinking the parking brake is up. i have seen that some people have also spliced it into a powered wire and it works. i just bought a pioneer avh- p4000 and im gunna see next week when i install it what it takes to get it to work.

right which is why i put "switch to ground" to you. jvc isnt as smart so a simple ground is sufficient
