factory stereo+two 12's

I have an 06 Cobalt lt sedan and i have the stock pioneer system with the 10" woofer in the trunk, i want more bass but want to keep the stock head unit to make it look cleaner in side so i got my old amp and subs, i purchased a Line Output Converter from bestbuy and tried to splice the wires from the stock sub so that the 10" and the 12's hit together at the same time instead of left bass and right bass, i cant seem to get them to work, possibly because im not sure which wires are which going into the factory sub...

if someone could tell me which wires are what that would be a great starting place...

as of now the subs hit depending on which side is hitting, and that sucks because the 12's are hitting on the right side which way over powers the left side and makes it sound like ****...

also if anyone know what is rattling inside the car that would be nice because that also sounds like ****, it sounds like it's coming from the back window, thanks

the rear deck and the clips on it are whats rattling. on the aftermarket amp when you disconnect one rca so theres only one still connected what happens to the bass? try the opposite single one and what happens then as well?

ive tried doing that like mono or whatever it is, it still plays only say the right side bass, im almost sure its because i have the wires spliced wrong, but i dont know which wires are which so i cant be sure

i didnt do that because the wires for the rear speakers were so far apart and the adapter thing didnt have much slack for them, but i think my friend ended up getting it to work, hits hard for some shitty subs
