Factory Sub Question??
i wouldnt recommend turning a sealed box into a ported one by just cutting a hole.... ported boxes are usually bigger unless you have a giant port (cutting a hole is not really much of a port at all) and a ton of power on the sub
I have no idea where my wife put the cameraand neither does she! I'll have to describe it to you till I come across it. When you remove the box from the trunck the portion that sits over the wheel well is where I centered and cut a 2 inch diameter hole. I have yet to put a tube in it but as it sits the sub moves TONS more air!
BUT, a buddy of mine who does car audio for a living just stopped by and I ordered a Kicker S7 (or somthing or other) 10 inch sub and Kicker 400.1 amp. Hes gonna build a custom box for it as well all for the unheard of price of $400 for EVERYTHING! I'll make a seperate thread and post pics (if the camera turns up!) when its done. Stay tuned!
