GM Extended Range Remote Start

http://www.gmpartsgiant.com/accessor...e-starter.html Anyone install their own? I am looking for tips or a how to. Instructions are vague at best. I know I need my Tech II scanner to activate it. She does not currently have remote start. So I bought the kit that says for cars with power windows... w/o remote start. The kit has a basic key chain style, and the other is the digital remote.

I may still have to find a shop to sync up the remotes to the car. But I did not know if anyone has bought, used, installed... one of these units. I bought it for my G8 too. It was soooooo easy. you need to replace the remote control door lock module (RCDLM) then have it programed. Took me less then 30 miinutes. This unit has a similar box. But also has additional wires, a mounting bracket and other gooodies with it.

Has no one else bought this kit that did not have remote start prior to the kit?

Bueller... Bueller... Bueller?

The kit came with the standard remote start, remote key chain. Then a digital version. a small 2 wire harness, attached to the new hood latch it came with. Anyone know where the 2 wires go? Only other thing is the replacement of the factory lock/unlock box that is set to a new frequency. With the new box, it comess with an extended range remote antenna (looks like the Nintendo Wii snesor bar).

Anyone know anything? I know her old standard remotes will not work, once I find the location of the lock unlock box. Know where the box is? Where the 2 wires go, under the hood that are attached to the hood latch?
