Go for it man... Besides all the trial and error, hit and miss things I did, it actually was a fairly easy install. I don't mind answering any questions... It only took about 4-5 hours to do it. However, I already had the wires run and all the material readily available.

Ah I probably won't. The silver/black/yellow interior has really grown on me. I'm diggin it a lot. Door speakers should be in pretty soon.. ordered them this past weekend.

I was thinking of doing an IPOD conversion here since I dont have my XM enabled. Maybe taking some of those inputs and making an IPOD connector that plays through the XM channel. The factory connection is reallllly shitty with that mono input cable.

Sounds like a plan. Go for it... Let us know how it goes.
Here are the speakers I bought for the person who asked earlier:
Pioneer TS-SW2541D 10" shallow mount sub
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=17004
Pioneer TS-A1682R 6 1/2" 4-way door speakers
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=17417
Pioneer GM-D7400M 800 watt class-D mono amp
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=19066
RMS rating for the sub is 250 watts, so this amp will be perfect for the sub because the amp is rated at 250-400 watts RMS. Later on if I decide to go with a box and another sub I'll just bridge the two and be done with it.
I'm hooking those door speakers onto the amp I have installed on the rear deck now along with the 6x9's... It's really weird right now because whenever I have the amp off, the rear sub slams. Whenever it's on it doesn't hit worth a shiz...

lol not that you would want to really. the shallows arent the best of speakers but sometimes the only option and if ur already going to loose trunk space with a box for 2 of them might as well get a regular speaker and be louder.
