opinions on double din HU...

First and formost...not looking for a nav enabled unit...I have a galaxy note 2 for that.

Im looking for good voltage for the preouts since I'll use my current setup which is already wired and installed (amped interior and sub). Would prefer it be backup camera enabled too as well as having an AUX port and bluetooth audio streaming. Other than that...all other features would be a bonus

Looking currently at the Pioneer AVH-P8400BH and the Kenwood DDX419.

Thoughts, opnions?

those 2 are pretty close when looking at the specs. im sorta leaning towards the kenwood even thou it looks like its a smaller screen, but ive always preferd kenwood over pioneer so that could be biased

The kenwood also has a higher RMS output and a front aux iirc. No remote tho and the pioneer software seems nifty (the dj inspired stuff) and a bigger screen too. I should probably just go mess with them at an audio store

Don't let the higher rms fool you there's a 99% chance they both use the same "internal amp"

I'm Kenwood biased but I honestly like that pioneer better.....the USB extension on the back is used up by a Bluetooth dongle btw on the 419

Hey C_A_D88 how did you get the fold down face to work in our cars? i just bought an avh-p8400bh and it seems to bind a little on the bracket!! Did you shave the inside of the bracket a bit to not have it hit anymore??
