paint for dash kits

Hey guys I'm looking to get a pioneer Avic-d3 and I want my double din dash kit to match the rest of the trim to make it look nicer. Does anyone know good brands or close colors that match?

well, though i'm not 100% positive on this, i'm assuming it would help if you told us what color your car is.

I don't exactly know what you mean, but if you plan on painting you dash trim use teh color matched paint from gm... its like 8 buck a can and matches damn near perfect to the color of your car. and if you do a search you'll find specific directions on how to paint it

I think musifreak is looking for paint that will match the factory silver trim, not his car color. Musifreak, I haven't been able to find a perfect match myself but if you run across some let me know. The color is called "Satin Nickel" as written on the back of one of the trim panels.

I heard that a silver sharpie marker works well
