So we can run the meth without tuning right? Just for the cooling properties, and just a tad of hp?

 

Yes. To take full advantage you will want tuning, but it won't harm anything.

Sorry I wasn't getting emails when replies were made...the negative effects are only when you are running too rich which is only an issue if you don't get tuned properly, if something happens and flow of injection stops and you don't have a failsafe or something to protect your motor and thats about it...it will give you a clean carbon free motor producing more power safely...

does anybody have the GM Stage 2 tune w/ 2.79 pulley and a meth setup? if so, what kind of gains, or if not, will the stage 2 tune help w/ the meth since it's already a little rich?

hey guys, I have not read through this entire post however I just got my AIS kit in yesterday and will be installing it with before and after dyno numbers in a few weeks.




I have seen a few questions that have been asked without any awnsers. I have been talking with Rhdney at Alcohol Injection Systems.com for a week or so and did order thier stage two kit.

as you can see in the pictures all of the parts are excelent. ALOT better looking than I thought they were going to be. I got steel braided lines with mine as well. he is also offering a metal bracket I belive this week..

as far as the question about running with spray. you would be dumb not to. you are leaning out your air fuel ratios with the nitorus, and you are adding points of octain with the meth. why would you not? with this set up i will have no knock what so ever. it allows for much better tuneing. colder intake and supercharger temps. al around safe product. I wish I would have been educated a long time ago about this. it would have been one of my 1st mod's without question. sorry about the book, but im prety excited about this.

also wanted to let you guys know. if you have any questions at all. just call AIS. if I didint sell you on this, I know Rodney will. he is great, he even included a buisness card in the package and told me if i had any questions at all to give him a call at any time. all of his systems also come pre made and tested before they even leave the building. pre wired and everything. It also comes with a booklet of instuctions. with pictures and everyhting. trust me, you cant go wrong with this setup.
