you know, I more of a "function over form" guy, so when I see that intake and its position, I can't help but think about getting some a/c insulation and making a housing for that filter so it can just keep the air as cold as possible.

 

whats up with the 90 degree oil feed line??

 

you mean the one on the oil cap? If so it is because it needs to clear the hood and just barely does. The back of the valve cover has already been tapped bigger and the are both being feed to a vented catch can to help relieve crankcase pressure.

I don't know that the 90 is hurting flow all that much, but I was mildly surprised to see that too.

It still looks like a great build.

 

Wrong bov spring was sold to me and the bov is staying stuck as well. Making the car throw some nasty correlation codes and the car goes into engine disabled. Gonna get another spring tomorrow and see how it goes
