As everyone waits for Hahn to release the twin charged kit think about something. To date I have only heard of three twincharged Cobalts but I never heard any of them being tuned 100%. As most know, I was headed the twincharged route, so having researched that option I talked to others and discovered that tuning is harder than first believed.

the twincharger will come out for sure, if i have one you guys will have them soon enough. if they were never going to come out i dont think i would have been able to get my hands on mine, anyways i know what you guys are saying, this kit is taking forever but that only means they are refining it as best as possible. hahn has a good rputation to keep so i think they are taking all precautions possible to run this setup successfully.

Not to be a spoil sport but your kit is one of the ones I refered to. Keith told me in a PM that he never had that kit 100% tuned.

I hear you on this one. I just think after about a year of R&D they would have started tuning the car a long time ago, and worked with it for awhile instead of tuning it only a couple weeks ago. I understand for sure that tuning takes time to make it reliable, and the twincharge setup is definitely going to be more of a PITA to tune.

they can't even figure out a single turbo for a 2.4 what makes you think they can do a twin charge setup maybe by 2020 they might steal an idea from someone else

They have figured out a turbo for the 2.4 already. Take a look at their Soltice. They just haven't **** out a kit for the Cobalt yet.

Cool Bovine Fecal Matter

I personally think "Brad" is full of it. It could just be Hahn putting him on the spot by throwing out word of something too long before it was ready. I've called twice and each time his answer is, "next week".
I first heard of this kit from Hahn in a magazine article boasting 400hp. Brad said that was only obtainable with the 20g turbo.
The first time I called he had all kinds of details saying that the kit has already produced 300hp easily, that they were in the final stages of tuning and it should be available "next week" for about $3500.
The second time I called he acted all but ignorant of any technical knowledge of the kit saying things like he couldn't know details without a parts list in front of him. He tried to steer me away from anything bigger than what they would be selling standard by claiming it would break if I went any higher. He was very adament about saying they would not release until it was 100% and would not sell anything that will break the engine.

So, my conclusion from all this and reading the entire thread is that we can expect a gain of 300+hp, for $3500-$4000, and it should be "next week".

I wouldn't hold my breath

LMAO! I hear you on this one. I've got the next week deal for like a month straight. I hope for Hahn's sake they have on badass product in the end. It should be perfect after the time they have spent on it.

Oh, and I in no way wanted to start an argument about Hahn releasing their kits. i was just stating the facts. I come in peace!

keep in mind. Gravana tried the Twincharge kit and so did Rev It Up Motorsports. I think thats why Rev it Up faded. Because there stage kits was a dead end.

I dont really mind that the kit is not out yet. Winter is here and I dont have the means to get the kit (yet) , but an update would be nice as I am still interested in this kit. lol

I am sure that Hahn is just making this kit the best they can make it.
I can wait for that.
Go HAHN!
